Homemade Chocolate Donuts
Top 8 and Sesame Free
Dry Ingredients
1 1/2 cups gluten free oat flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup rice milk
2 tbsp. canola oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Makes 18 mini donuts
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. This recipe also works well for cupcakes if you do not have a donut pan.
In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. Mix them together well, until all ingredients seem to be together.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix them until no visible dry flour remains.
Pour batter into mini donut pan (or cupcake pan). The mini donuts took about eight minutes to bake.
Once baked, let them cool for about ten minutes before removing them from the tray.
Once removed, eat them plain or decorate them with frosting, powdered sugar, or sprinkles!
Enjoy!
